Creative Journey - A Daily Dose of Creativity Week 8

Now that I've been holding myself accountable here on a weekly basis and posting my pictures on facebook and twitter daily I seem to get more done.

I can't believe it's been 2 months since I  started this journey of creating on a daily basis.

This week I've spent most of the week working on my ruffle scarf. It is a project that is taking way longer than anticipated. It is looking cool but I did not expect to put so much time into it or yarn about to start the 4 ball of yarn.

Tuesday working on the ruffles.

Wednesday I finished the grey ruffle and started adding the yellow. Loving the yellow with the grey, worked on it well into the night.

Thursday the yellow ruffle is almost halfway done. It's looking awesome but getting very heavy.

Started on an art project , completed the background but forgot to take a picture of it.

Friday night the girls and I made t-shirts. Rock was away for the weekend so we did some crafts.  Muffin and I made the yellow one for her and Monkey worked on the white one with minimal
assistance.

After the girls went to bed I made a diaper cake for my friend's shower. Tutu was still up with me as he had a late and long nap.

And when Tutu finally went to bed I worked some more on the scarf.  I tried real hard to finish it but it wasn't happening.

Sunday was a busy day, I got to work on the scarf just a bit more but I didn't get a picture of it. We were visiting with Rock's grandparents and Aunt and Uncle.  I showed his Grandmother how to knit; she crochets and is awesome at it but never knitted. I showed her the basic stuff that I knew. I also made a yummy ham for dinner and tweaked with my recipe.  I find I rarely make things the same way twice, the basics are the same but the proportions are always a bit different depending on my mood.

I hope that everyone had a creative week and produced a lot of stuff. Hope the upcoming week is as creative.
