Creative Journey - A Daily Dose of Creativity Week 7

Now that I've been holding myself accountable here on a weekly basis and posting my pictures on facebook and twitter daily I seem to get more done.

This week I've been working on some gifts, the ruffle scarf and some decorations for Tutu's birthday next month.

Monday working on hats

and more hats

And I made a Mary Jane booties, without a pattern. Well I started with a pattern but it wasn't turning out so I decided to wing it and do it on my own. I was so proud of this accomplishment.

Tuesday - it wasn't just a fluke I was able to make another bootie with  that matched the first one. I just tweaked it to make it have a better fit.

I added a contrasting pink band and strap and a vintage faux pearl button.

Wednesday I finished both booties, they were looking cute.

Thursday I started to make some flower embellishments.

And i worked on some more in the car.

Friday I added pin backs to the flowers, so they can multi-task on many items.

And I pinned them into placed.

And I cut out some stuff for vision boards and art journalling.

And I cut out pendants to make a banner for Tutu's birthday party next month.

The finished product for a birthday party tomorrow.

Saturday I worked some on on the ruffle scarf.

And I cut out fleece so that Monkey could make no sew blankets.  She was so excited to work on them and didn't want to go to bed.  she also woke up at 6am Sunday morning to work on them.

Sunday I pinned the pennants to some bias tape.

And worked some more on the ruffle scarf. This thing is taking forever.

I also worked on making my studio into a usable place again instead of a dumping ground and storage room. I have a lot more work to do in there. I have to get over my fear of purging.

I hope that everyone had a creative week and produced a lot of stuff. Hope the upcoming week is as creative.
