What I Wore Wednesday - Double Take

This week was better with taking pictures but again weekends where my piture taking abilities fail, I guess this weekend we were having too much fun.

I have been spending lots of time outside with the kids and working on my projects. You can check them out  here where I hold myself accountable on a weekly basis and post my pictures on facebook and twitter daily.

Wednesday - work

 This is another outfit that I got from my friend at her garage sale. Everything is from her and this is my favorite one (it may even show up again later that's how much I LOVE it.).

Thursday - work and a tenant appreciate BBQ at lunch

So I know I will get in trouble from a  friend for doing this but I wanted to do something different with the pictures. I did these last year but this year with my knee being all messed up I can't do it but since I had my brace on I would try. The first one was a fail with my scarf flying in my face but I love the way the last one turned out. It makes me look learner they way I'm stretched out.

 My little model. I got her the bathing suit at Walmart. If they had this pattern in my size I would have scooped it up, pink cherries = awesome.

Saturday - crazy day, soccer picks, Rock gone for the morning, I got out of the house for 3 hours without kids with my friend and Rock went to a concert with his co-worker (I hate concerts so she did me a favor by going with him).  I didn't get any pictures of me but here is Muffin at soccer.

Sunday - we went to the zoo and then to Oshawa to celebrate Rock's grandfather's birthday. Again no pictures of me but here are the kids and Rock enjoying the splash-pad. 

Monday - work and an appointment to get Monkey into a program

 Rock calls this hairstyle my Amy Winefield hair and for some reason every always comments how long my hair is. I wear my hair down when it's freshly washed and up the second day when I wash it and no ones says anything about the length but when I wear it half up like this everyone can't believe how long it is.

Creative Journey - A Daily Dose of Creativity Week 17

Still not doing much stuff on the physical front. The  knee is still swollen and sore but a bit better. I have to wait 2 weeks for the results from the MRI. At physio this week I started doing shuttles to strengthen the muscles around the knee.   Still spending lots of time on the couch but getting more active.

 I spent Saturday mornig walking around at the Creativ Festival. I used all my birthday money to atock up on supplies. I spent a bulk of my budget on fabrics. But I also got some yarn and stamps and scrapbooking supplies.  I was hoping to get some pictures today and post about it but with 3 kids being sick that didn't happen. Muffin caught this virus first and has been fighting it for more then a week. Friday Monkey came home from school with it but it didn't hit her as bad as it did her sister and last night Tutu got it. I was up in the wee hours of the morning with him and his fever. Not as bad as it was 2 weeks ago but enough to bother him so he wasn't sleeping.  Hopefully tomorrow I will get a picture, if not it probably wont' happen until next week as I need to get the house ready for my FIL's visit. He's coming up Friday and staying for 6 days.

Saturday

Started working on a baby blanket but I scrapped it . I didn't like the way it was turning out. 

So instead I started working on a ruffle scarf with yarn I picked up in the morning.

Sunday

Tried to finish Monkey's maxi dress but I ended up break the thread again and put it aside again.

So I started working on curtain's for Monkey's room. I had to go out today to buy the material because Lord know I didn't buy enough yesterday at the show.  My FIL is coming up for a visit on Friday and will be sleeping in Monkey's room and the blinds that are in there now suck. So I'm hoping to have them done before then.

And I worked on the scarf some more.

And started pinning the hem on one side of the curtains.

Creative Journey - A Daily Dose of Creativity Week 9

Now that I've been holding myself accountable here on a weekly basis and posting my pictures on facebook and twitter daily I seem to get more done.

This week I finally finished my ruffle scarf. It is a project that  took way longer than anticipated. It turned out cool but I will never make another one like it.

Tuesday

I worked on making myself some new calendars, I'd been working on it for the past few days.

Wednesday

I crocheted a flower to turn into a pin.

Thursday I didn't get any pictures but I worked some more on my calendar.

In the car ride to the Niagara Falls I worked on making flowers.

And started another flower in the car.

Saturday

I worked on the purple flower some more and started to crochet a belt for myself.

Sunday

And finished the purple flower on the car ride back home.

I hope that everyone had a creative week and produced a lot of stuff. Hope the upcoming week is as creative.
